Thank you, God, for my weakness.

It’s hard to realize that you’re not as strong as you thought you were, or as strong as someone else thought you were.


It’s harder to admit that to someone’s face than it is to do so in writing to faceless names who may or may not be reading. 


It’s humbling.


And, in its own beautiful, nonsensical way, it’s comforting.


“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in your weakness.'” (1 Corinthians 12:9)
