A short thought on the chicken and the egg

Sometimes, God is overwhelmingly good. And sometimes, life is overwhelmingly bad.

I have the tendency to, in the dark spots, ask God why every good thing that happens to me is followed or accompanied by something bad.

But what if that’s backwards? What if what’s actually the case is that every time the overwhelmingly bad things happen, God follows with overwhelming goodness?

Life isn’t the tragedy we so often make it out to be.

  1. Brit says:

Pain in this world is suppose to feel unnatural-it’s suppose to hurt. The hurt reminds us that we’re not home yet. It reminds us we’re still in need of a savior.
Doesn’t make it feel any better, but it always helps me.
